Project R.O.A.R. members are stationed one member per Florida Park Service district, working closely with the Park Program Development Specialist. These members spend the year developing interpretive materials, hosting events at parks within their district, and participating in tabling opportunities. Project R.O.A.R. members are the educators for environmental stewardship, and help foster the service related mindset.
Once applications are reviewed, potential members will have the opportunity to choose which district they are interested in. Site supervisors at the district itself are responsible for conducting interviews.
Working with the community to protect the parks, learning about the animals and plants in the parks, learning about the history of the parks
Improve safety of public lands, get more volunteers out to the parks, get more visitors out to the parks
