Description

Project R.O.A.R. members are stationed throughout the Florida Park Service districts. working closely with the Park Program Development Specialist and other park staff depending on if their host site is the administration office or state park. These members spend the year recruiting volunteers through various outreach techniques including; developing interpretive materials, hosting events at parks within their district, participating in tabling opportunities, etc. Project R.O.A.R. members are the educators for environmental stewardship, and help foster the service-related mindset.

Site supervisors at the district or park itself are responsible for conducting interviews.
