Description
This service position is for a January 2023 start. As a GO Fellow, your service year will begin in January 2023 and continue through June 2023- the duration of the academic school year. During the service year, you will immerse yourself in the culture and routine in one of the GO Foundation's partner schools. You will instruct students in either math or ELA, support the social-emotional growth of students as a mentor, and help to develop a safe and inclusive school community where all students thrive. By providing individualized instruction to and developing meaningful relationships with students, you play an integral role in preparing them for their education and beyond. This is a service role through AmeriCorps with regular full-time hours.

HOUSING
The GO Foundation provides Fellows with an incredible subsidized housing benefit that is almost cost-free for Fellows ($100 per month will be deducted from your living allowance to cover housing). Fellow housing is shared housing, is fully furnished, and has basic utilities included. The GO Foundation subsidizes the majority of the housing cost. This is a unique feature of our program that sets us apart from many other AmeriCorps programs.
