Description

Welcoming individuals interested in serving Watsonville's NDMVA program by becoming an AmeriCorps member for a local school, environmental education program, or food bank. Our team serves the beautiful Pajaro Valley, providing additional support to the schools which are stretched thin and the social services which could always use an extra hand in reaching out to populations needing support. In addition to service at their primary site, our members join a diverse team of 5-10 supportive and dedicated individuals for orientation, biweekly meetings, and team service projects throughout the year. Candidates may apply for a specific site (school, garden education program, food bank), or indicate an order of preference when they apply. Please apply at ndmva.org/apply/.

Member's are eligible for a range of benefits found at ndmva.org/ or @ndmva_watsonville on Instagram. All members will be eligible for low-cost rental housing in Watsonville through one of our partnering sites for only $300/mo (Jan-July 2023!) in addition to loan forbearance, a living stipend, health insurance, and an education award at the end of service!
