Description
Members in Atlanta serve in a variety of ways at local organizations supporting the local refugee and immigrant community. From K-12 in-school and afterschool tutoring and mentoring to adult ESOL and job readiness classes, members are hands-on in the classroom. Their service will be centered around small group and one-on-one tutoring and instruction in the areas of ESOL, general academic tutoring, social-emotional learning, and job readiness.
Our Atlanta site currently partners with the International Rescue Committee, Catholic Charities of Atlanta, Agape Youth and Family Center, and the International Community School.
