  • About Us
Through our partnership with AmeriCorps, each year National Health Corps recruits, trains and places emerging leaders in resource-limited organizations throughout Central California, Chicago, Delaware, Florida, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and San Francisco to expand, improve and combine their efforts to improve health outcomes in underserved communities.

Members collaborate with staff in schools and local government, nonprofit, and faith-based agencies to recruit, train and manage volunteers, development and implement programs in communities that aren’t being reached, and build partnerships between organizations who are doing similar work through staff training and outreach. In Service Year 2020, 119 National Health Corps members served in over 85 organizations nationwide, reaching over 180,000 children and adults.
