Description

SAY Clinic is a primary care clinic serving the uninsured and underinsured patients who may be homeless or do not qualify for medical coverage. The Clinic has a primary care provider on staff and additionally works with volunteer specialty providers to deliver comprehensive care to patients in the metro Detroit area. A volunteer is needed to support healthcare administrative operations. This includes documentation, supporting clinical buildout, developing operational policies and procedures. The volunteer will also work directly with patients on health improvement, connection to other local resources, or insurance enrollment. It is recommended that the volunteer has fluency in French, but is not required.

$150 - $220 monthly

Quarterly retreats are hosted by Mercy Volunteer Corps to provide volunteers with opportunities for reflection, spiritual growth, and shared experiences. Throughout the service, Mercy Volunteer Corps provides volunteers with webinars for personal and professional development.
