Description
Casa de Paz provides a personalized transformational program to empower and lift up Latina women who have been victims of domestic violence. The program includes a 6-month personal plan for housing, counseling, English language competency, psychological support for trauma, spiritual guidance, and ongoing community support for the women and their children. A volunteer is needed as a family service worker to assist in the implementation of trauma-informed family plans. The Mercy Volunteer will provide hospitality, encouragement, and documentation for the residents. Spanish and English Fluency is required.

Quarterly retreats are hosted by Mercy Volunteer Corps to provide volunteers with opportunities for reflection, spiritual growth, and shared experiences. Throughout the year of service, Mercy Volunteer Corps provides volunteers with webinars for personal and professional development.
