Description
Christian Appalachian Project (CAP) AmeriCorps Thrift Store Associates sort donations, steam clothing, help keep the store clean and organized, and perform retail functions. Our thrift store provides low-income families with access to affordable clothing and household items in an environment that respects their dignity and agency.
CAP AmeriCorps members also have the opportunity to participate in CAP's Volunteer Program. CAP Volunteers commit to direct Service, intentional Community, and Spirituality. In addition to their service, most CAP volunteers share in dinner and devotion several nights a week.
